Brief history
Why choose NCP?
Hello, Kia Ora, G'day;
My name is Erin, and I come from a wide background of both work and life experiences.
I am originally from a remote beachside town in Western Australia, where the sheep & wheat farms turn into station country and desert.
After boarding school & graduating from university in Perth, I worked at a hospital inland of Melbourne, working in mainly in high risk foot care. I also saw many young children for developmental assessments.
After moving to various locations in rural Western Australia, I worked in both private and public practice; I was required to be able to treat any case that walked in the door... the nearest podiatrist may be more than 400km away! (Pressure much?)
After an OE I spent some time working in the dry mess on a remote minesite. I then moved to a lifestyle block near Oxford in 2010 (yes, great timing!).
Before and after having children I commuted to Christchurch for work, both clinical and rest home podiatry; from diabetes care plans to nail surgery.
In January 2020, I opened my own practice, North Canterbury Podiatry. The ability for me to be able to work both locally, and with my own blend of trans-tasman methods being the biggest benefits.
Until March 9th 2022, I will still be available at the Oxford clinic.
Most weekdays I am available at the Rangiora clinic.
For those needing after hours appointments, I am available in Rangiora every second Tuesday until 7pm, and Thursday until 6pm.
